Radebaugh Florist & Greenhouses has operated as a family business at its current location at 120 E. Burke Avenue in Towson for four generations over the last 90 years and will continue to do so for many years to come.
Over the past several years, we have made numerous changes to enhance our business as well as to provide our customers with a better overall sales experience. These changes include building a new state-of-the-art greenhouse at our wholesale farm in Northern Baltimore County, interior renovations to our floral shop, expanded merchandise lines and enhanced accessibility in our retail greenhouses. All of these changes are all part of our vision and plan to carry us into the next generation.
The surrounding communities and our loyal customers are familiar with our retail floral shop and greenhouses located on Burke Avenue. What many may not know, however, is that the Radebaugh Family operates wholesale greenhouses and a Design & Delivery Center on family-owned property located at the end of Aigburth Avenue. These greenhouses have been in operation since the 1940’s. While they hold a good bit of nostalgia for the family and our employees, they are certainly not the most energy efficient and require a great deal of maintenance. We have struggled for the past few years about what do to with the old greenhouses on that property. There was talk of residential development, but when Baltimore County began a search for open space, it seemed like it may be a better fit. An introduction of a new park at this location seems like a wonderful idea for the community that has supported our family and our business for decades.
As you may have read in the County’s press release and in various news articles, we are currently in the early stages of negotiations with the County; however we want to make it clear that any potential sale of the portion of the property located at the end of Aigburth Avenue will in no way affect any of our daily operations. In fact, the potential sale will help us facilitate our growth and further renovations in the near future.

The Radebaugh family has strong ties within the Baltimore community, especially in Towson, and we are here to stay.
