George W. Radebaugh established Radebaugh Florist & Greenhouses in Towson, Maryland.
The first two greenhouses were constructed for growing cut flowers and plants.
The flower shop was built as a retail florist store & also served as the home of the Radebaugh family upstairs.
The florist product line was expanded to include not only fresh flowers, but also silk flowers, indoor green plants, giftware and fruit baskets.
A 48,000 square foot greenhouse was constructed on the family farm in northern Baltimore County, allowing us to satisfy the demand for potted annuals, Easter Lilies and poinsettias for our own retail greenhouse as well as our wholesale customers throughout Maryland.
A 10,000 square foot flower design center was built in Towson and continues to house a processing room, design area, delivery facilities and plenty of refrigeration space for flowers for our daily and holiday season demand.
A warehouse was built by the design center to house hardgoods and the growing line of event rental items.
Radebaugh secures a liquor license through Baltimore County and is now able to offer wine, champagne, beer & spirits in store and for delivery in Baltimore County.
Kaitlin Radebaugh takes the reins as President & Owner of Radebaugh Florist & Greenhouses, marking the 1st women leader of the family business.
